Manuel Serrano-Alarcón is a postdoctoral researcher. His research interests lie within health economics, applied microeconometrics and the evaluation of social and health policies. He holds a PhD in Global Public Health from NOVA National School of Public Health, at NOVA University of Lisbon, a MSc in Economic Development and Growth from University of Warwick and Lund University, and a BSc in Economics from University of Alicante. At DONDENA he collaborates within the projects "Pension reforms and spatial-temporal patterns in healthy ageing in Lombardy: quasi-natural experimental analysis of linked health and pension data in comparative Italian and European perspective" funded by Fondazione Cariplo and "CHAIN - Better Health and Quality of Life" funded by Norwegian Research Council.
